designLAB founder, Bob Miklos finds relaxation weekends on Nantucket painting on site. He works in watercolor on an Arches’ block from his vintage folding stool with his brushes and paints arranged in a cigar box. A 3 time ‘Frank Swift Chase’ award winner, Bob most admires Edward Hopper and Nantucket artist John Austin. He is currently experimenting with combining watercolor and collage.
