goldilocks chair

The goldilocks chair is a mass-customizable rocking chair that uses parametric modeling technology, and computer-numerically-controlled (CNC) fabrication tools to respond to variation in the human body to create a chair that will always fit “just right.” Seven measurements of an individual’s body are input into a computer model that forms the geometry of the skeletal framework for the chair. The framework is cut using a CNC tools and assembled by hand like-puzzle pieces.
