opArt

Josef Albers and Julian Stanczak were masters of color theory and op-art graphics. Contemporaries of Paul Rudolph, their paintings captured the impact that brilliant color, subtle juxtapositions, and shifting patterning contribute to graphic identity. Their work inspired and instructed the interior transformation at the Claire T. Carney Library, which is once again bathed in the warm light of Rudolph's original interior.
