The Hitchcock Center for the Environment contains an innovative rainwater capture system that features clear storage tubes in the buildings ecotone. As proof of concept, the system was mocked up and installed by designLAB to test material durability, cleaning procedures, and viability. Several valuable lessons were learned, resulting in changes in the ultimate design and installation is underway.
