University of Maine Farmington
emery community arts center
farmington, maine
The Emery Community Arts Center was conceived as a venue for the exploration of the visual and performing arts that was to be shared equally by the local community and the students of the University of Maine, Farmington. The project consists of performance and gallery spaces, along with an open lobby that supports pre- and post-performance functions. The signature design element is a bi-folding hangar door in the performance space that allows arts programming spill out to the Farmington campus and community.
